This is the end… of Chapter Three!

Two years, one month and twenty-two days. This is how long it took me to write the third chapter of the Loewe Legacy. At this point, I can only imagine how long it will take me to get to the end of this challenge… if I ever get to the end, that is. As of now, this legacy is going on a hiatus. I have no intention to abandon this story completely, however, I simply don’t have time to play the Sims right now. My gameplay is up to date with the last episode of this chapter, so as you can imagine, it will take me a while before I’ll be able to write new episodes. My save games are safely backed up in my external hard drive and I am looking forward to getting back to them once I have the time!

In the meantime (except of catching up on your stories) I’ll be updating the website, working on some extra content such as the family album, the personal identification cards, a brand new alphabetical list of Sims who appear in this story & character’s biographies, I have also finished editing the first video of the retrospective series Shards Of My Past dedicated to the founder of the Loewe Legacy. You can watch the trailer for the series here.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR FOLLOWING ME ON THIS LONG AND CHALLENGING JOURNEY AND FOR GIVING MY STORY A CHANCE. I GREATLY APPRECIATE THE SUPPORT AND FEEDBACK YOU HAVE GIVEN ME IN THE PAST THREE YEARS. IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU, MY FRIENDS, THE LOEWE LEGACY WOULD BE LONG DEAD BY NOW…

I’ll see you around!

Dearest friends!

I have finally managed to write this! It’s hard to believe, but I almost thought I wouldn’t finish writing this episode… ever. Luckily, I didn’t give up and persevered and even though it took me around two months to get through all those screenshots (seriously, I need to stop taking so many of them) and a partial writer’s block (I knew what I wanted to write, but the words just wouldn’t come to me) I am happy to let you all know that the long-awaited update is heeeeeeere!

Happy reading!

P.S. I apologize in advance for any (and I know there are many) grammatical mistakes, so please try to bear with me. My English is still a work in progress and dealing with all those past tenses just makes my brain go mrpfvsnklskjpnhys%viyxz@envnslk! 😣😣😣

Hello everybody!

I’m so sorry I made you wait for this update longer than I planned, but work got in the middle of everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. I had practically no free time for myself and really started hating my lifestyle a lot… In the past month I’ve been working overtime every day and since it takes me around two hours to get to/from work I’ve been coming home very late and with just enough energy to make a dinner, take a shower and hit the sack. I am pretty much in a zombie state right now…

Anyway, I finally managed to put together the last update dedicated to Nathan. Don’t worry, you’ll see him again later on in the story. Hopefully, I can find some time to write the next episode which will take place in Monte Vista and publish it the next Tuesday. Yes, you read well. Tuesday. I decided to move my posting day from Monday to Tuesday for no particular reason. I hope you guys don’t mind… Oh, and don’t forget to download Arcadia. It’s amazing, especially at sunset!

Now, enjoy the story while I take a nap.

Dear followers,

I owe a big apology to all of you since it has been nearly two months from my last update… Don’t worry, I haven’t abandoned the Loewe legacy, I only don’t have much time to dedicate to playing and writing. However, I managed to put the next update together, I hope you enjoy it!

Happy reading 🙂

Voices From Beyond

On the way back from George, Kate had to walk all the way because she forgot her purse in the restaurant and couldn’t pay for the taxi. Kate walked along the river, crossed the bridge and when she was heading uphill she heard a strange noise coming from the cemetery. She got scared knowing her way led through that place. As she approached closer, the air got suddenly colder. It was late and she was really tired from the training. Kate stopped some meters from the cemetery gate. The mist flooded the whole place.

It was so dense that Kate couldn’t see the tips of her shoes. She decided to run across the cemetery, only she could not. Her legs felt heavy, like glued to the floor. This is really weird, she thought to herself while she slowly walked towards the gate on the other side of the cemetery.

When she was halfway there, something made her stop. She turned her head and saw the statue pointing at a spot on the ground. It was that tall figure that blinked its white eyes at her yesterday.

“What do you want from me?” she asked aloud. “Just let me go, please!” continued frightened Kate.

Weee neeed youuu, Kaaate,” whispered a voice coming from within the statue.

I must be dreaming… Somebody help me, get me out of here… please… Kate thought to herself while a tear streamed down her face.

Nobody living is going to hear you, Kate. Only the dead are listening now,” said the voice. “What do you want?” Kate asked again, but nobody answered. The tension dropped. She suddenly felt lighter, as if she would be hovering above the ground.

“We will not hurt you, Kate. Please help us!” said a voice coming out from one of the graves.

Kate turned and saw a bright shadow looking at her through its empty eyes. Oh my God, she thought to herself and fainted instantly.
